September 2023!!!

We started out this month with a trip to Legoland with friends. We had a ton of fun and were exhausted by the end of the day. I would say the kids liked the Legoland Driver's School the best maybe? They were super proud of their drivers licenses. Nora was DISTRAUGHT when she learned that she couldn't use it to drive us back home to Phoenix.

Nora has started a girly phase! I'm out of my element and need backup from anyone willing to help LOL. She loves Frozen and wants to dress like Elsa, so we got her an "Elsa skirt" and Anna dress. Ben is doing better in school - he's really enjoying chess and piano, although it's difficult to keep him focused for the entire piano lesson.

Pawpaw flew out on the last day of Sept for a visit. His flight was a bit late, so he, Craig and Ben went straight to the Phoenix Rising game as soon as they landed. Looking forward to reminiscing about his visit in the next blog post :)

Ben and Max were the most intimidating ninjas by far. Nora's a close second since she looks so unhinged. LOL

I'm pretty sure she couldn't have done a better job looking both cute, but also disturbingly menacing if she had tried. LOL.

Ok she can drive the van home. Hope Craig's ok with that ;)

Ahhhhhh, there's the girl I know! SHOOTING ICE AND SNOW!!! :)

She joined me at the local nursery, which had a rooster :)

In Phoenix we find tiny slivers of Fall where we can :)

OMG. Ben snuggles haven't happened in FOREVER. This is my happy place :)

Phoenix Rising game - they went on to win the championship!
