August 2023!!! Happy Birthday Craig!!!

Slowly catching up! Ben is still struggling in first grade a bit, but things are getting better. His teacher and counselor think it's because he's not getting enough free play time with friends (it's too hot for the kids to play outside :(. We spent most the month trying to stay cool - we took Ben ice skating (his second time ever). He did really well and ended up skating without the walker. In other news, we were FINALLY able to get Nora to stop sucking her thumb - we just had to find the right motivation, which happened to be nail painting. We used a little of that gross-tasting nail stuff. After one taste she was totally done with her thumb. Her dentist will be pleased :)

We're looking forward to cooler weather so we can get outside some more. Unfortunately, it won't be for another couple of months.

Ben has been asking to ice skate, so we decided to get out of the heat and take him He did really well!
