March 2021!

I'm trying hard to catch up! Both February and March were a blur in part because we had to live in a hotel for 8 days while part of our house was being remediated for mold (penicillium, not black mold, thankfully) and we're prepping our house for sale. It goes on the market in April!

None of this has, of course, slowed Ben or Nora down! Nora's doing great - she's hitting lots of milestones. She's been clapping, giving us high fives, pointing and "talking" with us in her own language. She's added a few words to her vocabulary - cat and cake. She also tries to say "AH-choo" when we mimic sneezing :). She's a very silly girl - some of her favorite activities include rolling around in Vincent's stinky dog bed and "surfing" around the floor on various items like pillows and clean diapers (basically anything that slides). She LOVES pillows and blankets - pretty sure she got that from me! She was sick in late March with a cold or cold-like illness, but tested negative for COVID.

Ben is doing well, too! He's spelling and reading a few words, which is great. He's also practicing writing. Right now he's really enjoying making things out of paper - airplanes, pterodactyls, boats, etc. He likes folding and cutting mostly. Ben's also able to draw people, animals and other objects. He's drawn a few pictures of himself, Craig, Nora and me. He's also really enjoying being a big brother - he really watches out for Nora. He does, however, have a hard time sharing sometimes, but he is just 3 :)

We were able to get out to enjoy the last of the cool weather before it heats up! We went to see live Irish music outdoors at the Musical Instruments Museum. Ben was mostly excited about the snacks, but Nora, Craig and I liked the music! We also went hiking at South Mountain when we were staying in the hotel.
