July 2022! Someone turn down the heat!

July was a hot one (of course). We still managed to stay busy and somewhat cool by visiting the aquarium, multiple splash pads, and the zoo and botanical gardens early in the morning.

Ben's looking forward to starting kindergarten in August!!! He starts Aug 1. He's very excited to be in a school with big kids and is hoping to see some friends from his KinderPrep class there! Nora's definitely in the throes of the typical twos. Fortunately, her tantrums are easy to mitigate - we just ask her if she's upset because of X (suspected reason) and then ask if she wants a hug. She's such a cuddly girl that hugs basically solve all her problems :). She also sometimes hilariously mixes up her consonants (e.g., "farties" instead of "smarties" - see the video below :) and follows a lot of her statements with "Wuuuuuuuut!".

We're looking forward to flying out to Florida in August to see the Artemis launch!!! It's scheduled for August 29th. Woohoo!!!
