April 2022! Happy Birthday Ben!!!

Ben turned 5 this month!!! He's a sweet, creative, and sensitive kiddo who, more than anything, loves to make everyone laugh. We had a party in a pavilion at the Phoenix Zoo and then fed stingrays. It was great seeing everyone after so long in isolation! It'll be fun to see Ben start kindergarten in the Fall. He's super excited to start at his new school near our house :).

Both kids have been doing well. Nora's speech really took off when Grandma was in town. She's speaking very well now and in complete 4-5 word or longer sentences. Both kiddos love doing yoga and pilates together and LOVE listening to the Star Wars soundtrack.

Grandma TT was still in town in early April. I took her out for Ethiopian food where we tried a sampler platter - we waaaaaaaay over ate. We also visited the Botanical Gardens where we discovered a kids play area that we didn't know about and I met a fellow geologist! We took a hike around Piestewa Peak where we discovered that Ben prefers to blaze his own trail through the brush beside the trail. Lol. We also visited the Uptown Farmer's Market for some yummy food and coffee!
