July 2020!
We're finally settling in to a work routine! Nora's sleeping a bit better - she was on a predictable sleep nighttime schedule around 7-8 weeks old (end June/early July) - 12 am, 4 am and 7 am feedings. Not bad! Nora has spotted her hands and feet and has started grabbing things and getting her hands to her mouth. She's smiling and laughing (see video at the end, complete with baby snorts) and cooing at us. We are having fun watching her discover her silly big brother.
Ben is doing great! He's starting to consider how his actions will affect Nora (ex: he had us help dump out his car box so it didn't make a loud noise and scare Nora :). He's also adding using his fingers - he knows to hold up different numbers on each hand and count them up, so he hasn't added numbers greater than 5 yet. He seems to be learning by leaps and bounds - just like all kids, I guess!
Our favorite Ben-isms this month:
- Calling Nora "Nor" and "Bebs"
- Telling us that he's allergic to the funk (as in music).
- Telling us that Nora is "updating".
- Telling his gummy bears that they're going home when he puts them in his mouth to eat them.
- Saying "probably" and "pretty" in ways that don't quite work, but are entertaining. "I probably want to eat an apple, mom" or "I pretty like these shoes".

Nora at 8 weeks old. She's catching up!!!
Ben enjoying his planetarium. He's always good for a few super silly faces :)
Nora enjoying some inclined tummy time with mom and dad. She's so relaxed with dad, but clearly has something to prove with mom. LOL.
Nora at 9 weeks!

Ben "plays" piano. Silly guy.
This is the BEST. Ben was making Nora laugh by throwing tissue paper in the air. The feels!!!
