June 2020!!!

This month has been a bit stressful since we're still isolating and both Craig and I have returned to work. Arizona is experiencing a spike in COVID-19 cases, so we need to stay diligent. Thank goodness for FaceTime!

Nora is growing and developing FAST!!! This month she's learned how to get her fists to her mouth, coo, smile (and seemingly laugh!) and has started reaching for objects. She's also holding her head up really well and rolling over on her side. We think she's going to be a bit more athletic than Ben given her ability to roll over and climb up our chests during tummy time. She's also started negotiations with Starman, although her negotiations don't last quite as long as they did with Ben :).

Ben has been great - he's still dealing pretty well with the isolation. He loves his little sister (he calls her "little sist") and is great with her as long he's not feeling a bit rambunctious. He's three so it's expected :). He's getting really good at making up his own songs - usually about monster trucks or something related to cars. He's mostly stopped napping (BOO!), likely because he's not getting the outdoor playtime he used to get at school. It's waaaay to hot at this point to have him play outside :(. Craig's been taking him in the pool most nights for a hour of swimming, which helps. He's able to swim across the pool now with his floaties on - this is great considering that he used to cling to us when we got in the pool with him! This month Ben was able to do some addition on his own! So far he's able to add 1 + 1 and 5 + 5!
