February 2020!

A little late on this one (yet again). The semester has been very busy. We didn't get too many pictures or videos of Ben this month, but we did get a chance to drive down to Tucson to go to the Gem and Mineral Show with Aunt Debbie and Uncle Joe! Ben has been doing great - potty training is going well, he's getting much better at being gentle with Vincent, he's having fun with his friends at school, etc. Ben and Vincent have really started to play well together this month (see video). Ben has nicknamed him "Lance Vance" (sounds like a Grand Theft Auto character - LOL). Ben loves to purposely mispronounce words and practice accents - he comes up with some pretty funny stuff sometimes! My favorite is "squish-aaaaaaay" for squishy. He also LOVES to sing for us - Wheels on the Bus was a favorite this month. He's also getting excited to meet his little sister and likes to talk about being a big brother :)

Some of the not-so-great stuff - I was rear-ended on the highway around mid-February and spent the evening in Labor and Delivery. Fortunately everything is fine - just stress and lost work time and sleep. Ben had yet another cold - he's basically been sick since early January. Par for the course for a two year old, I guess!
