21 Months!!!

Ben turned 21 months old last Wednesday!!! He's been doing great this month. He's really enjoying Montessori School. He's still taking out the bathroom trash and cleaning up spills and food that Vincent has nudged out of his bowl. He loves singing songs - he's still singing a few Christmas ones like Jingle Bells. He's also putting more and more words together. When he wants to know what one of us is doing he says "Mommy doing?", "Daddy doing?" or "Vincent doing?". He's continuing to put together sentences - his most common is typically to tell us that an airplane or helicopter is flying in the sky, that something is swimming, or "I get/eat it". Ben's also starting to say his ABCs and to count. His favorite numbers are 7, 8 , 9 and 10, so he tends to start with those when counting ;).

Ben's named our robot vacuum cleaner "Danny", which really makes it feel like part of the family. Lol. He REALLY likes to "help" Danny clean the floor, meaning he mainly picks him up to reposition him (yes, we've assigned a gender to our robot vacuum). Ben is also really in to helicopters, airplanes, rockets, and sting rays right now.

This month we've been busy with the start of the semester at ASU. Ben got to visit his old daycare and daycare teachers during the first week of January. He really enjoyed seeing them again! We drove up to Sunset Point one day to check out the snow (and mud!) and have visited the aquarium a few times. We also got to visit the Musical Instruments Museum with our friends Amanda, Sam and their son, Elliott.
