8 Months!!!

This has been an exciting month for Ben! He's trying really hard to crawl - he pushes forward from a sitting position on to his hands and knees, but can't quite get his feet out from under his butt, so he rocks back and forth in that position until he catapults himself forward onto his face (don't worry, he doesn't get hurt). While on his tummy he is able to move himself forward a bit on the floor when he's after a toy or some electronic device of mom's or dad's. He loves books (any he can get his hands on), songs and snuggles. He's getting pretty good at petting Vincent, who enjoys the attention, but is still unsure about the new "puppy".

He's still a big guy - he's wearing 12 month clothes right now. He's eating like a champ - even through a tough cold at the beginning of December (mom and dad are still getting over it).

Ben had his first visit to the zoo this month - courtesy of Nonna! Most of the animals were too far away for him to notice, but he did enjoy meeting a goat. His all time favorite were the chickens :).

On December 15th Ben took his first plane ride! We flew to LA to visit with Mema, friends in Santa Monica, and celebrate our favorite Astronomy Professor's retirement from Santa Monica College. Ben was GREAT on the plane with the exception of pooping as soon as we boarded. Mom and dad needed to up their diaper changing game anyway :)

All ready for Christmas and 2018!!!
