16 weeks!

This little one is nearly 4 months old! At this point he's consistently sleeping through the night (~8 pm - 4 am; woohoo!). After eating at 4 am and then going back to sleep he wakes us up around 7 every morning by cooing "OOOOOOOOOOO! AWOOOOOOOOO! AGEEEEEEEEEEEEW!" as loud as he can.

We're not entirely sure how much he weighs, but are guessing between 17-18 lbs based on our home scale - he's wearing 9-12 month onesies and size 3 diapers and has outgrown his infant car seat. Goodness!

Activities: Ben's super vocal so we spend a lot of time "talking" with him. He loves to have his diaper changed, take a bath, and listen to us read books. Right now his favorites are "Little Fish", "I Like to Squeak! How Do You Speak?", "Your baby's first word will be DADA", "Baby's Big World Chemistry" and "Baby Loves Aerospace Engineering". He enjoys watching us eat so most nights he "eats dinner"(sits in my lap while we eat at the table) with us. He also smiles at himself in the mirror, although I'm not sure he know that he's looking at himself :)

Ben has been playing in his activity saucer for ~three weeks now. He seems to like being upright as much as possible, so he spends some time in his saucer, in his frog seat, and on my lap while I work during the day. He's also finally noticed Vincent! I'm not entirely sure what he thinks of Vin, but he spends a lot of time watching him. Lastly, he enjoys watching and listening to monsoons!

Despite the serious look on his face in all the pics I've included, he spends a lot of time smiling and laughing. He just tends to get serious as soon as I point the camera at him :)

Ben finally go to meet Nicole! He loves her and all the funny noises she makes :). Nicole took the pic on the right when we headed out to lunch on her last day in Phoenix.
